Location: Located in Western Japan, at the Southern tip of Honshu.

Look out for: Akiyoshidai Plateau and limestone caves. Motonosumi shrine - coastal shrine with stunning views. 
Hagi - one of Japan's best preserved samurai towns, also know for its unique hagi-yaki pottery. 



Food to try:  Fugu (Pufferfish) served as sashimi, hotpot or grilled. 
Kawara soba - soba noodles served on a heated roof tile. A must!
Yamaguchi is home to Dassai, Japan's most famous premium sake. 



Tips: Enjoy a rickshaw ride around Hagi. Recommend renting a car.
